Once you've understood The Principles Of Horsemanship, it's time to start putting them to use through The Purpose Exercises.

These are the exercises that will teach your horse the art of Liberty, by tapping into how horses learn and behave. Typically we teach these in the order listed below, but there are sometimes exceptions to the rule, and many times we are working on multiple at once!

    Albi finds connection and safety with humans. Mia and his owner suspect Albi has some past trauma around physical contact with humans, so Mia helps his owner to build connection and trust with Albi at liberty using join up, letting him choose to seek her as a place of safety and comfort.
